At 10 years old, I started my own dog walking service in my neighborhood where I took care of pets when their owners were away. More recently, I ran my own independent pet sitting/boarding service in the Hamptons for dogs, cats and other pets (birds, chickens, turtles etc.). Services included overnight pet/house sitting (short & long term), day care, drop-ins, boarding (long & short term), exercise (long walks, playtime, beach runs, fetch), meal preparation, training, behavioral observation, medication administration and customized care to each individual pet based on their needs. I take special interest in animals with extra needs such as seniors, puppies/kittens and pets with behavioral, health or medical issues. I engage in close bonding in order to read the individual needs of each animal, build trust and to better understand if there were ever to be a medical emergency. I also offer assistance during the difficult time of putting a pet to rest whether it be physical help, companionship, emotional support or relieving the owner of making the dreaded vet trip. I try to help busy owners with the demands of their pet(s) and offer suggestions if they're encountering a certain issue. I have excellent references, am trustworthy, reliable and honest. I always put the needs of the animals first!
