Pet care experience
I'm a nurse, a mother of human kids, and the mom of a 10-year-old pup and some cute-as-buttons guinea pigs. We are a home of non-smoking, very caring, animal lovers. Your pup (or other pet) will be safe and very much loved during their stay! Here, Fido will have the run of a nearly 0.5 acre yard that's surrounded by a sturdy 5-foot fence for their safety. Inside our home, they will be welcomed as part of our family!
Reviews
I can notvsay enough good things my experience with Suzanne and family. I have two rescue fur babies and have not left them with anyone since adopting a year ago. It was more traumatic for me when dropping them of for their Vacation! It truly was a vacation for my boys because they were active, stimulated and loved. We received daily reports and pictures of all the fun and loves they were receiving! My Heart is happy and we will be return customers! Love Arlo and Sully!
Suzanne did a great job with Cooper. She was great at communicating and kept me informed while we were away. I will definitely use her again.
Suzanne's family really embraced our pup as one of their own pack 🙂 Pictures and updates were great and put us at ease. Our pup came home happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!
This was our 2nd stay with Suzanne and our small 4mo puppy had a blast! Suzanne ensures her owners are kept well up to date every single day of their dogs stay with her on all the fun they are having, which provides reassurance that your dog is happy, healthy, and well taken care of. There have been zero issues leaving our puppy with Suzanne and when available, she’ll be our go-to sitter.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure the dogs are leashed for walks and my fence is checked regularly for ground/fence gaps and holes. Floors are kept clutter-free for dogs that eat non-food items. All dogs are socialized carefully with my dog, as well as other guest pups, and accommodations are made for personality conflicts if needed. Dogs are generally kept in constant human company. For the times your pup cannot be supervised (grocery trips, etc.), they will be crated in an exceedingly safe and comfortable crate. Safety is a priority.

Information Suzanne B. would like to know about your pet
It's great to let me know ahead of time if your dog has any interesting behaviors, like chewing on grass or eating inedible things, especially clothing items. Please be truthful about marking. This is a home, not a concrete kennel that can be hosed down. If you believe there is any chance your dog will mark, please provide them with a belly band or discuss the need for a belly band with me.
A typical day
Early morning potty outings, playing ball in the fenced yard, walks around the neighborhood, and relaxing. Whatever the dog needs or wants, we will do. A typical day starts at around 6:30/7am. We start with a potty outing and then come in and it's breakfast time. Of course, your pup will need to potty afterward, as well. While we're outside, it's time to throw a ball or stick around for a while. On a nice day, we'll probably spend most of the day outside. (When I see a pup is getting tired, we can go inside to the kennel area and they can nap or relax with some snuggles.) Around 5, it's time for dinner, followed by some more outside time. Pups are usually tired around 8 pm, so it's time for bed. Crate-trained pups will retire to their designated crate and bed sleepers will go to bed. If there are any nighttime needs, they will be tended to.
