Pet care experience
I’m the one that my friends and family calls for everything from “can you come give my dog his insulin?” to “how do I get my dog to stop tugging at the leash”. I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! Aside from all of the experience I have from growing up on a farm, I have professionally worked as a veterinary assistant (specializing in dogs and cats) and as a horse trainer. Whether your senior pet needs medication administered or your unruly puppy needs some obedience reinforcement on his walk, I’m your girl! I can’t wait to be a safe and trusted face for your pets when you can’t be there for them yourself.

Susannah has been a family friend of mine for a long time. I only have great things to say about her. She has come over to my house on a few occasions to help my family with moving and other projects that we've had. She has babysat my kids a few times. I trust and respect her!
Nobody loves animals more than Susannah. Seriously her dog is the most well cared for creature I know. I can't remember a time Susannah did not have a pet. She loves taking care of their hygiene, helping them get exercise, feeding them gourmet pet meals, the whole 9 yards. Honestly, your pet will be sad after leaving Susannah's because they will miss her and the loads of love and care she will shower down upon your fur baby.

I give 110% to all of my clients from drop-ins to extended house-sitting stays. I take your pet’s and your home’s safety very seriously and hope to be a trusted extension of your family. As for walks, I will often take dogs to a park for lots of stimulation and energy busting! I also love to hike and run, so for my energetic dog breeds you can request a 60 minute hike up the Y mountain or a 3 mile run! I am very strict with my dogs when it comes to leash manners and trail obedience, so you will get a two-for-one as your dog will come home better behaved than when he left.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive, has any triggers, has special needs, or a specific goal (like getting out energy or practicing manners). If you dog is working on obedience I am happy to reinforce the training you are doing.

Availability
I work part time at a local gym (never more than 4 hours at a time) and part time from home. I Can swing by your house before and after work and have a flexible enough schedule that I can stay overnight if needed.
