I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and now am fortunate enough to be a dog-momma myself (she does not come with me to overnights or walks.) I know the nerves of having someone new watching your little fur family member, so I have some extra tricks up my sleeve to make animals feel comfortable and have fun when in my care! Friends and clients have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets, among other needs. My experience ranges from overnight stays to trips to the local park to play frisbee and run around. I am able to give medication to dogs/cats, and can help with basic training as well.

Susannah is absolutely lovely, took great care of my dogs (9 yrs & 4 month old). She sent great photos, kept me updated and put me at ease while being away. She's professional, thorough, clean and asked great questions. My dogs were in great hands and could tell they missed her. Susannah will be hearing from me next time I head out of town! Highly recommend!
Susannah is wonderful and so professional! She was super flexible when our plans changed due to a storm and was able to make sure our cat oke was well taken care of. We have worked with Susannah for drop ins and also house sitting and we highly recommend her and look forward to having her watch our cat again soon! She was also very attentive to our concerns about leaving our cat due to his recent health issues and she did a great job of keeping a close eye on him and providing us with updates and cute photos :) she also reassured us that she could provide medication if needed for him but he was luckily a healthy cat and had no health issues when we were gone, likely because Susannah did such a great job. Thank you so much Susannah!!!

I always want to know if there are any specific instructions you have about your home, which I will follow completely! The big things from how your pet likes to be approached upon entering, to the small details of whether to leave lights on when I go. It will also be important to know if your dog has any specific medical/dietary needs, and how they interact with humans and other animals we might come into contact with.

Please let me know if your furry friend has any particular health / behavioral challenges that might pop up while we spend some time together! It’s also helpful to know how they interact with people who care for them, I.e. whether they like interacting with new people, if they prefer to be left alone, etc.
A typical day
I want your pet to feel good both emotionally and physically after spending time together! I would make sure your dog is able to get some exercise and be mentally stimulated through toys or simply exploring some exciting smells and sites (safe ones of course!) around their neighborhood. For cats, I’ll make sure to give some extra snuggles/scratches if appreciated.

Availability
I am currently home on Mondays and Fridays, so am available for walks usually at any time these days, as well as over the weekends. For house sitting needs, I am available Monday-Sunday with at least a couple days notice. I am also available for drop-in services any day of the week.
