Lovable Dogable Trainable
Pet care experience
I began competing at dog obedience trials as a junior handler at age 9. Dogs have been my life ever since. As a member of Miami Obedience Club, I stay up to date with the latest training techniques and health & wellness information for canines. I enjoyed a professional experience as Manager & professional dog trainer at PetSmart in West Kendall. In addition to providing dog walking services, I independently teach group/private obedience classes. I am certified as an AKC “American Kennel Club” , CGC “Canine Good Citizen” evaluator.
Reviews
My dogs have had the pleasure of being babysat by Sue for close to three years now. She is quite knowledgeable in training dog obedience. Sue is my go to choice to care for my pets when I leave town. I have complete trust that my animals are well cared for with her.
Susan is a 5 star sitter. She watch my American bulldog puppy Oliver over a holiday. In a short amount of time Susan taught Oliver sit and down. He was exhausted when I picked him. I will definitely use her again
Extremely disappointed. We returned home and our dog was not in her kennel. We had a meet the night before to go over everything and we informed Sue that Lucy was never to be left out of her kennel if nobody is here. She peed on the furniture which will now need to be professionally cleaned. We cannot find her leash anywhere. It was attached to her harness when we left and is kept in a box next to the front door but it is nowhere to be found. Also, her stuffed animals were outside on the sidewalk. There is no reason her stuffed animals should be outside and are very concerned about why this happened. We're very disappointed and have tried to reach out to Sue to discuss our concerns for the last 2 hours with no response.
Susan was not home when I dropped off Ruby for a 7.5 hour daycare, her mother said Susan was expecting me and that II should drop off Ruby and Susan would be home soon. I asked if everything was ok, she said yea but she didn’t know where Susan was at the moment. I was scheduled to meet a group 30 min later and trusted the odd situation because I had left Ruby here before with no issues. I was paddling on the River all day without a phone on me and Susan was aware of that. When I got off of the water, I found several mean messages that Susan left for me because I had not communicated all day. She was well aware that I could not because I would be on the water. For the last several bookings she was kind but this time was completely bipolar. She even sent a message the day before stating that Ruby was a favorite and offered the usual booking rate of $30 even being a holiday, then she requested $15 more because she was not home when I dropped off. Since I returned home, Ruby has thrown up twice and had severe diarrhea indicating that she was fed food or treats that I did not authorize. I left the bag of treats that were acceptable for Ruby. Overall, it was a shockingly disappointing stay and I hope no one else gets put in this stressful and uncomfortable situation with Susan. This is the first negative Rover situation I have encountered. I should also add that after my first stay, Susan automatically set up a standing weekly daycare booking for Ruby that I did not ask her to do or authorize. I cancelled it, of course,, but I found it very odd. I have used Rover for many years and you will find much better providers on the site.

Does your dog have any allergies? Are there anything behaviors I need to watch for? (i.e. marking, chewing shoes, clawing, digging) Are there any health issues I need to be aware of? (i.e. excessive itching, eye leakage, nervous gnawing) How do you reward good behavior? Is your dog food motivated, praise motivated, or toy motivated? (it’s OK if you’re not sure) Let me know the appropriate collar, leash, toys and treats to use during our visit.
