Pet care experience
I owned a dog for 12 years and have been babysitting other dogs for three years now since I lost my dog. I enjoy the company!
Reviews
I have known Susan for 12 years. I was her dogs groomer. The love and care she gave her dog would be enough to say she's a true pet lover. I would leave any of my dogs in her care and know they are being loved on and truly cared for.
Susan is an amazing dog mom who took care of our amazing dog Waldo for 12 years until his passing last year. She is caring, compassionate and a massive dog lover! She would be a great help with any dog to walk, feed or just provide some friendly love. We miss our Waldo so much so I am sure any time spent with new dogs will be a friendly reminder of the love between and dog and their owners. Additionally, she takes care of a neighbours dog (reese) in the area when they are out of town, and every time I see reese he is happy as can be, loving our amazing home and caretaker susan.
I have used Susan to watch my 13 year old Cockapoo, for the past couple of years. He is always so excited to see her when I drop him off, and although he’s happy to see me upon my return, - he is a no hurry to leave Susan’s place. I would highly recommend her for dog sitting. JH

My house is safety proofed, and I am very careful with food being out that’s not good for them. I have a large side yard where they can run. It’s not fenced in, but I have a very long leash!

Information Susan Y. would like to know about your pet
How often and when are they typically fed? How often walked? Do they like to play fetch or swim? How are they with other dogs when walking?
A typical day
I like to take them for walks and let them be outside with me when I am doing yardwork. Also in the summer I’m right by the lake so they can swim. If they know how to do tricks I can help work on them for you.

I typically wake up and let the dogs out and then feed them right away. Then every two hours I let them out. During the day before dinner, I take them out for a walk. Typically I feed them around 6 PM. In the evenings they stay with me, and then they sleep on the foot of my bed on a bench. I do work from home part time, and during the day I am on the computer for a few hours. On the weekends, I may go out and shop for an hour or two at the most and then come back and let them out right away.
