Pet care experience
I currently do not have any pets, but couldn’t take down my late dogs profile . She just passed away in July 2023, and was 16 yrs old. My dog prior to that we had for 17 yrs before she passed I have experience in puppy care/training and senior care. My 17 yr old dog had kidney failure and needed Iv drips. I’m capable of administering pills, IVs, diapers, open tumors, etc. My last dog had a torn ACL and I made sure to give her lots of at home rehab. She was my travel buddy, we traveled together in planes and busses out of country. She was my child until she had to cross over the rainbow. I just finished medical school, so medical conditions don’t add aversion to my care.

Susan is amazing with dogs. She would walk my Bruno whenever I was stuck at the office. He was always excited to see her. Susan was always timely, professional, and kind. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to watch over your fur baby.
Susan has owned and cared for pets as long as I’ve known her. She’s taken care of not just my dogs and cats but also my horses. She’s kind and compassionate and makes an excellent pet sitter

Whatever the owner prefers, I comply. If dogs aren’t allowed on the couch, I will help assist them off the couch. If they are allowed on the couch, then I will sit with them on the couch. Whatever the rules of the house are, I comply. We all need our consistencies. Some people are fine with dogs jumping on others while other people do not want their dog to do this due to knee injuries or health reasons. I am aware that consistency is key, and pets enjoy their routine.

If the dog has been aggressive to people they don’t know, very timid or shy behavior. Please inform me with what methods you use to make the dog more comfortable with new people. If they are food aggressive, etc. thank you.
A typical day
Depending on the dogs ability, activity level, a typical day is tailored as necessary. Dog walk or maybe a run, for more active dogs. Play fetch. Play with chew toys. With old dogs that aren’t as mobile, I try to give joint massages to help with their aging process.

I just graduated from medical school and will be studying for my boards full time. My schedule is set in front of the computer but mostly flexible for your fur baby. I’m currently studying Monday through Saturday and take Sunday off for myself. I try to go for walks myself to get some fresh air away from the computer. I even take my neighbors dog out and play fetch because I do miss having a four legged friend. Pet care fits into my day because I already take breaks away from my computer.
