Pet care experience
I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones!

This was the best Rover experience for me! Susan made sure my dog is safe and feels comfortable. My dog easily gets nervous with strangers, but she got used to the new environment faster than normal. I felt like Susan is really good with handling dogs too because she has great amount of experience with dogs. I really appreciate her updates, photos, and all the accommodations she has made for us. Thank you!!😊
Susan was very caring with Gracie. We appreciated the pics and reports about how she was doing!
Susan was so good to my dog Bear. He settled in under her care much more quickly than he has at other times with dog sitters. I felt very comfortable leaving him for a number of days knowing he was in such caring hands.
Susan took amazing care of my Miko and will use her again without hesitation.

A typical day
I am happy to take dogs for long walks, cuddle with them, play games, give treats...and teach a few basic instructions...If they have any special activities they love, I'd like to know, so we can hopefully include those activities in their day..

I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible, but would welcome long term, set schedules. I am also happy to accept last minute requests.
