Pet care experience
I love all animals but I work best with cats and I have two of my own; Salem who is 5 yrs old and Sage who is 3 yrs old. Salem is my outdoor adventure cat and Sage is my purfect homebody cat. I am the go-to cat sitter when a friend is in need of cat care and I have never said no because I love cats so much! I live in a two bedroom apartment and have turned my second bedroom into a cat room filled with toys and scratchers, etc. Though, my bedroom and living room is also filled with cat stuff! I have done both drop-ins and boarding for my friends and one of them gave me the idea to start a Rover account to cat sit since I do it so often for them.

For those who decide to board their kitties with me, I have a third litter box and water fountain so no need to haul those with you. I will also send pictures and videos as much as you'd like. I have a second bedroom filled with cat toys/tree/scratchers and etc. If you prefer your cat to be separated from my cats, I will keep them in the second bedroom and I will make sure to play with them throughout the day. I am mostly a homebody but I do leave for a couple of hours Monday and Wednesday to go rock climbing. Before I leave to work, I always make sure my cats are well fed and their fountains have enough water since I will be gone for most of the day and I have a nest camera to watch them throughout the day as well.

A typical day
If need be, I will walk your cat as long as both parties are comfortable with it. I typically take my cat to Clough State park. At home, I have all kinds of cat toys and scratchers and a few cat trees.

Availability
I work 12 hr shifts on the weekends (Fri-Sun, 3pm-3am) so I will be able to do drops-in before and after work. I am usually free Mon-Thur. I will no longer be able to leave work to care for cats. The only thing that would be hard for me are early morning hours for Sat-Mon; I am usually up at 11am for those days.
