I grew up with cats and dogs. I've had a cat or dogs most of my adult life. I love having pets in my home. I am a retired Army nurse and a mom of 6 kids, so I am used to caring for people and pets. My kids are mostly grown and I work from home now. We have a large yard and plenty of places to walk a dog in our neighborhood including on trails in the woods. As a military family we traveled often and I know the importance of finding someone who will treat my pets with great care. I will walk your dog a few times a day your pet will be a welcome part of our family.

I would like to know your pet's eating habits and what time of day it is used to going outside. I want to know how long the dog likes to walk for. Does your dog have special toys or a bed to sleep in? Do they have current rabies and bordatella vaccines? Are they microchipped? Do they take flea/tick/worm medicine?
A typical day
I like to go on walks in our neighborhood and also on the trail that is a half a mile from our house. I throw a ball or frisbee or toy with dogs that like that.

Availability
I currently work part-time at home. I walk dogs, as we don't have a fenced yard. If a dog likes to be outside, I have a long leash that I can tie in my yard. Cats are free to roam the house. Nightly rates are based on a 24 hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. The following extended care rates may apply for each pet on the booking if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay. This ensures that sitters are compensated for their additional time. 2-8 additional hours: +50% of the sitter’s nightly rate. 8+ additional hours: +100% of the sitter’s nightly rate.
