I have a great love of dogs. When I see a dog Ill usually greet the dog before the person. I’ve been a fur mamma of a sweet senior dog who I adopted 7yrs ago from the Edmonton Human Society. I also have 7 years experience walking, and dog sitting. I usually take my fur baby for walks at least two times daily sometimes more depending on weather, and on how many walks he wants to go for. Your fur baby will have so much love and attention, and a lot of fun while in my care. My own fur baby Jinx is a 9ibs 15 years old shih tzu mix. He is a very calm quiet boy. I live in a walk up townhouse condo with a small fenced in yard and lots of nearby places for walks, and a wide open space for your fur baby to run around and burn lots of energy. Fur babies are royalty in my home and that’s exactly how they are treated. Your fur babies will be more than welcome on any peace of furniture they wish to be on including my bed. If your fur baby is more comfortable sleeping on my bed at night I have no problem with that. If your fur baby is more comfortable in there kennel or there own bed that’s fine to. My home is a very calm quiet home, no children. I will board at least two fur babies at a time as long as they are from the same family. Susan was wonderful with our dog. Snowflake was treated like a part of her own family, lots of love, snuggles and walks. She provided constant updates and pictures.
Our wee dog was taken into Susan’s home, and given the same love and care as she gives her own little dog, Jinx. Her warmth and devotion to animals is clearly evident, and oozes from her with every spoken word and kind smile. It is most comforting to leave our beloved dog with Susan, Chris and Jinx during our times away.
Susan and her husband, Chris, as well as their dog, Jinx, were wonderful dog sitters. My dog, Norman, was so well looked after and spoiled, I wasn’t at all worried while I was gone! Susan provided many updates and pictures that helped me to check-in and see how much fun he was having 😊 I will not hesitate to have Susan and her little family look after Norman again. Thank you for your outstanding care of my fur baby ❤️

I have a small fenced in yard, a small calm 15 year old boy who loves his walks. My dog is crate trained, that’s where he is when I have to go out. I follow my fur babies lead if he wants to go for a walk we go for a walk, if he wants to sit quietly and cuddle that’s what he gets or he just wants to sit by himself in his bed then I let him relax. This is a no force home. I will not use any shock collars as I do not approve of them. I don’t believe in yelling at fur babies as that just creates anxiety, and worsens bad behaviour. Any behaviour concerns will be dealt with in a stern but compassionate manner. If you need me to watch your fur baby weather for a few hour or a few weeks I’m more comfortable boarding them here at my place. If you don’t want your fur baby having any thing more than what you provide for them, then they will only have what you provided for them. If you want me to walk them for 20 minutes half an hour then that’s how long are walks will be. I will follow your instructions completely. Should you choose me as your fur baby’s sitter Please bring something with your sent with your fur baby as well. Like you and I our fur babies get homesick, and anxious especially when they are with unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar place.. Having something with your sent on it will help comfort them. Ex. Pillow case, favourite scarf, a sweater. And please bring whatever foods they get at home.

A typical day
My fur baby and I take walks at least two or more times a day depending on the weather. There are some really good leashed parks in and around St Albert that I like to take Jinx to. Jinx is 15years old so he doesn’t play to much anymore but I like to play with fur babies so Your fur babies will get plenty of exercise and have lots of fun.

I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to walk, play and love your fur babies. I won't take fur children to any unleashed parks as I have anxiety regrading the health and safety of unleashed parks. Not to worry I can and will provide lots of activity and exercise for your fur child.
