I’ll love your pup as much as you!
Pet care experience
Growing up my family adopted an extremely stubborn 8 year old Siberian husky, and from that point on I have always loved and respected dogs of all kinds. I got my own dog in 2020 right before everything closed, so I spent much of my time learning positive reinforcement training, and at-home enrichment techniques to keep her mentally stimulated. I love to take dogs on “sniff-faris” where they can explore the world around them with their nose for as long as they like—it’s how they learn! A tired and fulfilled dog doesn’t just mean physically, and I enjoy mentally stimulating dogs with puzzles, scent tracing, and training.
Reviews
Susan is great she is very friendly and my Roxy really likes her. I will definitely be contacting her again.
I have known Susan for the better part of a decade now, and she has exhibited time, and time again that she is a responsible, caring person. Susan is organized and punctual. I have trusted Susan for many years in many aspects of my life. I cannot recommend her highly enough for your needs.
I adopted a lovely Australian shepherd named Maggie earlier this year and she is a fantastic bundle of energy. Unfortunately, my work sometimes keeps me away from home for hours on end, unable to regularly walk her. Luckily, Susan was the perfect fit for us! She’s a lovely young woman who seems to have a magic way with dogs and a genuine love for them! I couldn’t have found a better person to trust with Maggie.
Susan is one of my best friends and I have known her for more than half a decade at this point. She is a caring and considerate individual with a love for animals, particularly dogs. If we still lived in the same city, she would be my go-to person when I needed a dog sitter. Your fur baby will be in capable and loving hands if you choose Susan as your sitter through Rover!

Safety, trust & environment
On walks I am very vigilant of keeping dogs away from “street treats” to ensure they don’t accidentally ingest something harmful. For especially strong dogs or dogs that pull a lot, I like to use a double leash.
Information Susan N. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any areas they don’t like touched? i.e. tail, ears, or face? Are they food-aggressive or have guarding behavior over beds/toys? Do they have on-leash reactivity to other dogs or people?
A typical day
I like to let dogs sniff and explore as much as possible and is safe. We mostly walk around Covington residential streets, where it’s great exposure to different sounds and sights to keep a dog well socialized and acclimated to their environment.
Services
Susan can watch in your home
Availability
I work from home, and have an extremely flexible schedule. I can do short breaks for walks throughout the workday, and can do longer walks and home drop ins after 4pm. Weeeknds are generally flexible for whatever your needs are.
