Pet care experience
I grew up surrounded by Alaskan Malamutes and Irish Setters. My family showed and dog sled raced. Some of my earliest memories are playing in piles if puppies. Mom leading us through obedience training. Later we transitioned to raising cattle and I did 4-H with every farm critter as well as my cocker spaniel. I have always had pets. In addition to Malamutes, Setters and Cocker Spaniels I have had a Manchester Terrier, Red Heeler, a dachshund mix and I now have two Boston Terriers, Jackson & Sakari. I love playing with my pooches and going for walks. I am out in the woods not in town with lots of room to run and play. We hope that you and your dog will consider us for your dogs next vacation. I have dogs of my own so adding more to the mix is fine and dandy. More to love and play with makes my day. I have a fenced yard and Jackson loves to play while Sakari loves to run with other dogs. I have a nice route for walks and space for fetch, snuggles, belly rubs and exploring.

Such a fun place for dogs!
No points for guessing who is our favourite sitter here! Luna had yet another great stay at Susan’s. The girl is an escape artist and we are glad that Susan understands her needs. She managed to befriend Jackson this time around.
Clean outdoor fenced in area for dogs. My dog just isn’t used to crates so he needed to adjust to the area they eat and sleep.

I will shortly have a doggie door that leads to the fenced yard. It amazes me how many are really super quick at catching on how to use it including my client Mojo who has no eyes. He’s a wonder.

Let me know about special needs of your pet. Can they handle being in a crate or out in the yard. Do they bark a lot, do they understand “no,” jump on the counters, table or people.
A typical day
First we go out for a pee and then have breakfast and head out for play or a walk. Just before I leave for work we play in the yard. When I get home we do it all again.

I do work away from my home, currently variable but mostly afternoons. Weekday drop offs are 7-9 am or 8 pm. Anytime most Saturdays though I do have to work the odd one. Sundays I have church 12:30-2:30 which is 20 minutes from my home.
