I have a high success rate with my clients. One couple left the state and paid for me to fly to South Carolina to sit with their dog and bird for two weeks. I can supply very good references. I have had my own pets since a child and am not intimated by large dogs. I think I have great intuition when it comes to sitting with any pet plus I enjoy what I do. I have been pet sitting for ten years now have learned to administer shots and cared for two dogs that were blind. Two of my clients passed on and I am looking for additional work. Susan watched my dog for a week while I was away on vacation. Her love of animals was very clear to see when she met my Frankie. I felt at ease leaving my dog for a week in Susan's care. When I returned I could see that Frankie grew to really like Susan and they had clearly bonded Susan even took pictures of Frankie & shared them with me when I returned. I will definitely call on Susan the next time I'm away. Her price is reasonable & I feel she went beyond just watching & feeding my dog.
Susan has been sitting with my three pugs for approximately a year. She has stayed with them on three or four separate occasions ranging from a long weekend to a week. My boys are my babies and prior to having Susan I always dreaded leaving them for any period of time. When Susan is with them I know they are taken care of with the same love and care that my husband and I provide for them. She'll get on the floor to coax my 10 year old finicky boy to eat and has the three boys sleep in bed with her. They have her undivided attention for the entire time we're away. When we return from our time away our house is as clean and neat as we left it. The only reservation I have in recommending Susan is that when I need her, she may already be booked.
For the past three years Susan Mott has provided loving and responsible care for our three pets: a blind very old cockapoo who is diabetic and needs insulin shots after each meal, a nervous, barking rescued greyhound, and a 16 year old cat. When we travel each year, usually for one to two weeks, Susan stays at our home in order to be with our furry friends all of the time. They adore her. My husband and I move to St. Augustine, Florida on July 23 and only regret that she is not moving there from Riverhead, New York.
Susan is a great dog sitter, My 2 dogs just love her, they are so excited to see her come and they go looking for her when she leaves. She is very calming to my nervous little Yorkie (Bart). They enjoy all the attention she gives them esp. those wonderful, long belly rubs. I don't worry about them at all when they are staying with Susan, I miss them, but that is natural. She is the best!!! And she is the best friend anyone could have.
