Pet care experience
I have always loved and enjoyed animals - especially dogs. I had my first dog when I was about 7 and have had the pleasure of living with 9 dogs to date. I have a calm yet fun energy in which dogs feel comfortable and able to be themselves. I have experience training puppies and helping heal abused dogs and have witnessed behavior transformation. I ensure feeding/water bowls and inside/outside of the house are cleaned regularly, there is a comfortable place for the dogs to rest, and the dogs receive the attention that is needed.

We have used Susan multiple times for daycare and she is wonderful!! She is a warm and kind person and truly loves dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving Maya with her, knowing Maya will be safe and well taken care of.

Susan has been the sitter for our two dogs for the last three family trips. One of our dogs is quite old and requires extra care and attention. She provides loving car and is attentive to their individual needs. I highly recommend her.
Susan is a life saver!!!! We had an upcoming trip the next day and I wasn’t able to find anyone who was willing to take in my 6 month old Shiba puppy who is in heat (I tried at least a week leading up to the trip) Susan is a God sent! She was able to fit us in with a meet and greet that evening and was able to board her over the weekend. She treated our puppy with so much kindness and was very attentive to her needs. Susan and her daughter made sure our puppy had plenty of interactions and was never kept alone by herself. Asuna absolutely loves her walks and even made a new kitty friend! She learned how to walk up and down the stair as well! ❤️❤️ Susan sent us regular updates and replies to our messages within minutes. She went above and beyond with her care that we were able to enjoy our weekend without any problems! She is sooo understanding with our arrival time for pick up ( we were driving back from LA and the ETA kept changing) Thank you! Thank You! Thank you a billion times for giving asuna a mini vacation of her own and for giving us peace of mind while we were away missing her. I would HIGHLY recommend Susan if you need a place for your babies while away.

Doggies will get walked (or ran if they like that) at least twice a day. If they are able to be off leash, we can play fetch and play in the park to which the backyard gate opens. My two dogs, Rosebud and Biscuit, are small and friendly. They love playing together and with other dogs. They like to chase, tug on ropes and cuddle.

It is important to know if the dog likes children and small dog, and if the dog chases squirrels or cats. I appreciate knowing if the dog is food motivated (will listen for treats or will put paws on counters looking for food).
A typical day
Being so close to the river, we can explore the trails and dogs can take in all the wonderful, rich smells of the nature there. My daughter adores and is great with dogs, and she will play with them to both their hearts content.
