Servicing the Capitol Hill, Madrona, Madison Park, and Montlake area, I am licensed, bonded, and insured. I’ll keep your pets safe and make sure they have food, exercise, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I offer the peace of mind that comes from knowing your fur babies are looked after while you’re away, caring for each one as if they were my own. In the event that your furry friend has an emergency, I have been trained in pet first aid and CPR, and will always use my knowledge and experience to do what’s right without delay. I have also completed courses in bite prevention and defensive handling, and believe that ongoing education is imperative to my role as a professional pet care provider. I also do light house sitting duties, eg watering plants, bringing in mail/packages, adjusting thermostat and blinds, and leaving your home spotless, as though I was never there. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this review. Susan was absolutely incredible. She bent over backwards to make our meet and greet work, despite very conflicting schedules. We felt immediately comfortable with her in our space and didn't worry about our dog once while we were gone. We appreciated how communicative she was with us. We got home to a house that was cleaner than we left it and a happy, relaxed dog! We would recommend Susan without any pause and will 1000% be booking with her again in the future!
Susan was great and took very good care of our pup while we were on an outing. We felt very comfortable leaving Goose in her hands and would definitely utilize her services again!
Susan was absolutely amazing! She was in regular contact w/me while I was away. Took initiative when I was off-grid & used her own credit card to get vet attention to my dog when needed. My house was left in pristine condition. She completely exceeded my expectations. I'm so glad to know her and have her as a resource!
Susan took great care of our 2 cats and dog while we were out of town for a weekend. She was very responsive and kept us updated throughout her stay. She went out of her way to make sure one of our kitties was safe, after he decided to hide behind the washing machine. We came home to 3 happy pets and a clean house. I would highly recommend her!

I am a firm believer in routine, as sticking to a normal routine can help to mitigate stress when pet parents are away. I have taken a course in pet first aid and cpr, as well as bite prevention and defensive handling, so I will use this education to keep your pets safe and comfortable in your absence. I am following reports of the canine respiratory illness and am taking additional precautions to keep all pups in my care healthy, including sanitizing and disinfecting my hands and clothing in between visits, as well as avoiding dog parks and shared water bowls.

I would like to know any pertinent information such as temperament, how they interact with other dogs, any reactivity/bite history, whether they're pullers, treats/no treats, etc, in addition to any training and commands they know and/or are working on.
A typical day
I love taking the pups in my care for long walks, rain or shine, as well as making sure your pet has plenty of cuddles and stimulation, whether that be playing with toys or puzzles, or just going on a leisurely sniffari.

Availability
I am a full time professional pet sitter, so will easily be able to adhere to your pet’s schedule! I typically leave for a few hours a day to complete my other walks and drop ins, but will not leave your pet alone longer than agreed upon in advance.
