Let a dog trainer walk your dog!
Pet care experience
My number 1 goal is to make sure each dog gets the enrichment, exercise, and training they need so they can be the best they can be! Being a dog trainer, I have experience working with dogs that may need a little extra help as well as making sure any training you may be working on is upkept during their time in my care. I am a Top Tier K9 certified pet trainer as well as completing Petco's positive dog trainers program and CATCH canine trainers academy's body language and behavior solutions workshop. I also have experience working in doggy day care and volunteer work at shelters and can supervise play groups. In my free time I enjoy doing dog sports and scent detection with my dog!
Reviews
Susan was great! Shes super easy to work with and was awesome with my crazy pup.
She was great with my baby. Loved her.
Susan understands whole heartedly how special a family member is. They ARE family, not a pet and that's how Susan cares for animals. When we are away, she offers our dog a safe and secure environment to relax or play whichever he decides on at that time. She provides that care and attention needed to make not only our dog comfortable but as his family members, us comfortable and care free.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's happiness, health, and safety all come first in my care. I have experience volunteering at animal shelter's like Saint Hubert's and Husky House where safe handling was extremely important, as well as learning about basic canine health during my certification process. I also attended CATCH academy's body language and behavior solutions workshop because understanding dog's body language is essential for communication and safety when handling dogs. Their time in my care will be filled with lots of safe enrichment and fun!
Information Susan K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if you and your dog are in training so I can make sure to help upkeep that training during their time with me. I also like to know if a dog needs a little extra care either medically or emotionally . It's important to know a dog's physical and emotional limits to ensure I can provide them the best care. For example, if your dog needs any extra medical care, is working through reactivity, or can be fearful.
A typical day
I love to exercise the body and mind of the dogs in my care with lots of enrichment toys/games, fun training games, and exercise! Some examples can be working on leash manners at the park, scent games and nose work, going on sniffari's and hikes, using fun enrichment toys like kongs and snuffle mats, and biking and running.
