Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog owner and animal lover. My husband and I are retired and are available every day to take care of your pup. We treat our dogs like the beloved family members they are. I am experienced in giving medication to dogs and have years of experience with dog training. And we have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Emily who loves everyone and each pup she meets.

Susan and John welcomed us into their home and made sure we were comfortable with leaving Pippin with them. I received pictures and updates throughout his time there. They were very understanding when I possibly needed to extend his stay there, because of traffic issues. Pippin loves life and people and dogs and basically anything, but is still learning how to hone in his excitement, yet John and Susan were patient with him and cared for him intentionally during his stay. He had a great time, and I would recommend them!
Susan and John are fantastic! Rancho loved hanging out with them and their sweet dog Emily. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
John and Susan were absolutely amazing. my dog Pearl has been with us for five years and we’ve never boarded her out and we’ve never brought her to a doggy daycare or anything like that. I knew I didn’t want to bring my dog to a place that keeps her crated or in a kennel type situation. John and Susan treated Perl the exact way we treat her 💤🛌 sleeping in our bed, sleeping or in our lap, loving us, kissing us, going for walks, cuddle time spoiling her with treats. I would highly recommend John and Susan and little Miss Emily. They were so great with communication to let me know how she was doing, taking pictures and that just helped ease our minds so much…
I had to take a last minute trip for a family emergency and Sue was able to take care of my sweet dog while I was gone. My little Lucy (Lhasa apso) is not very comfortable with most people, but Sue won her over quickly! Sue has a big heart for animals and I’m so grateful for her.

We treat pups as members of the family and our care shows it. We do play time, walks with the dogs if weather allows depending on your preference. We have regular feeding times, can accommodate special diets any dietary requests. Dogs are allowed to sleep with us on the bed, and there are dog beds in every room in the house except the bathroom. We let the dogs out on demand or every 2 to 3 hours and once during the night if necessary. We do not use crates unless requested by owner.

A typical day
I make your dogs feel at home in our house. I have games I play with them, I allow for quiet time when they need it, they can go outside in the fenced area of the yard to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. They spend all day with me so they get all the attention and love they can manage. If they are good on a leash I will take them out for a walk to explore the neighborhood.

Availability
We are retired and are home every day to care for pups. Your dog will never be left alone if boarding for a week or more or just staying the day.
