Keeping Pets and Owners Happy

Pet care experience

Hello, Hi Everyone!! I have no idea where to start. All tho I am new to Rover I am not new to Pet Sitting, Dog handling, Socialization, Behavior Modification, Canine Handling in all areas, also worked with Fear Free for feral, shy, shut down dogs, and a lot of other animal stuff. My Passion. I have worked in Animal welfare of some sort for over 20 years. I spent the last 7 years doing Rescue work for an out of state Humane Society, Now, I am happy and excited to be able to offer Private Pet Sitting, House sitting and more, with 100% Focus on moving forward with momentum. Animals just keep me in-tune, Happy, Smiling and Balance. They make every day a good one. Our Animals are in our life by our choice, Right? So we should be giving that back to them. My Goal, What I strive for daily is to do just that. A happy pet and owner creates a happy relationship. Every day I strive to give my Kids that life, and I Assure you I will treat your fur kid(s) just like my own. Keep their daily lives full and enriched while in my care. Pet sitting, Private Walks, House Sitting, Adventures & More!!!

Susan is an amazing dog caregiver. She treats my dog with love and respect and kindness. Her knowledge of dogs is vast and always spot on. I’ve come to her with a variety of questions such as what to do when my dog swallowed a grape, or how to help me slow down my dog when she eats so fast or is the tick that got on her dangerous. I am incredibly blessed to have Susan in both my and my dog’s life. She truly is a second mom to my dog and anyone who asks her to give care to to their dog is a wise person and their dog is incredibly lucky to be with her.

Susan took care of our bunny, Lily. Susan was very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and went above and beyond while caring for Lily. Every aspect of care in case of emergency was thought out of prior to our departure. Lily was very happy as Susan would come everyday to spend extra time with her. The whole family was at ease as well, as Susan offered to send daily pictures and updates! Susan was the perfect pet sitter, as well as a kind person to be around. We will for sure be calling her if we ever need someone to care for Lily again!

Information Susan G. would like to know about your pet

I need to know the Good, fun and the not so fun. So all areas of the spectrum from, Favorite game, toy, treats, activity, Any reactivity to things, aggression to anything, resource guard, even if it's just guarding a ball, space or bubble, I need to know. Safety always comes first. Sleeping area at home, anxiety, crate trained, fearful of anything, weary of anything, habits like urinary marking, chewing, pulling on leash, leash lunging, destructive behavior, social traits - fearful.

A typical day

Where will we go on our walks? Anywhere! Walking The neighborhood, Friendly Parks, The River, on History Trail, where ever we can, All Over, Where ever the time takes us!! We Love to explore and soak in the beauty! We also play All sorts of Games like Hide and Seek, Fetch, Tug if its appropriate, Frisbee, hill climb up Lawrence and Lone Pine park, A game we call Middle, Flirt Pole, anything the day brings us! We enjoy hikes, jogs, doggy play dates if allowed. Of course Calm, Relaxing, Quiet time is always wonderful too! Nothing wrong with spending an afternoon day with loves, snugs, and lap time, maybe just curled up reading a good book? It's All about that Daily Balance, and embracing whatever the day brings - within safety of course.
