Hi, I am a professor and am off on sabbatical. I run a non-profit on the side and find myself spending a lot of time online. I miss having a dog in my life that takes me outdoors regularly. Before my canine companion passed, I got a lot more exercise and fresh air, which I miss. I would love to take care of your best friend, make sure they do not feel alone and have a great vacation while you are away. Your dog and I will do everything together, walk, run, play frisbee or catch, eat and watch TV. It's really important to know that I will keep your rules in force while away, no wild parties or dog's playing poker. I love the company of animals and love to treat them like they are the center of the universe.

Susan is awesome!! I recently adopted two baby kittens, and I had heard horror stories of pet sitters and interviewed quite a few before I found Susan. She has since house sat for me twice and she takes such great care of my kittens. You can tell while i am gone they have had plenty of attention and playtime-they hardly notice when I’m back! My house is also left exactly as I left it, clean and orderly. She is also a great communicator and sends tons of photos and videos. I travel often for work and feel so relieved to have found Susan to take care of my cats, I highly recommend her!
Susan was absolutely fantastic! We had just adopted our not so little baby (120 lbs Saint Bernard) less than three weeks before we had to go out of town for a long weekend. We were apprehensive to board her and didn't have any family available in town to look after her so we started looking for sitters on Rover. After reading Susan's reviews, we felt comfortable that she would take good care of our pup. She came by to meet our baby and within a few minutes we could tell that she was in good hands. Susan sent us plenty of pictures, videos, and texts to update us on her stay with our girl. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Susan and can assure you that your pets will be in great hands. We're so happy to have a trusted companion to sit for us in the future!

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I like to make sure that they are happy first and foremost and know how stressful being away from you they are. I will do my best to accommodate their needs, you just need to tell me in advance so that everyone is happy. BTW, when I dog sit - I can also water plants, take in your mail, deal with things while you are away as necessary.
A typical day
I like to keep dogs in areas they are familiar. If they have a favorite dog park or walks they like, I have no issue doing those.
