Pet care experience
I am very experienced taking care of dogs, big and small. Where I live, it is a no dogs allowed policy, which leaves me dogless: Sad, right? I love spending time around dogs, and also feel that dogs really respond well to me. Dog kisses are welcome!! I have volunteered for the SPCA (Kansas City) as a certified dog handler/walker, and have numerous clients for whom I have provided trustworthy and dependable in-their-home dogcare. I am experienced in full service care for dogs (and other animals), including bathing and feeding and giving medication, as needed. I follow the teachings of rewarding desired behavior for training, and am happy to assist with potty training, as available. I don't run with dogs, but can handle a good, strong 30 minute walk as often as needed. I work full time, Monday-Friday, daytime, but am pretty flexible once out of work. If you need a reliable, dog-loving helper, I am available. Regular availability, or one time help.

My dog Rocko is a super playful and energetic dog, but suffers from separation anxiety. Rocko warmed up to Susan immediately and she did a great job watching him. I'd definitely ask Susan to watch Rocko again and highly recommend her to any other dog owners.
Susan is an unbelievable pet sitter. She has cared for my two Siamese cats for the past 10 years every time I travelled. She would even swing by the house on her lunch break! Her level of responsibility is unsurpassed in all that she does. Trust is a big issue when your pets are your "babies" and she's the most worthy. Rebecca K
Susan was the only person that I trusted my home and my boys with. (Spencer a Springer Spaniel and Max a Begal) she took care of our home and our boys like they were her own. We recently were planning a trip to leave town and had to postpone because we did not have a person to watch Spencer and Max. When Susan was living in KC this was never an issue. Our loss is San Diego gain. You will not be disappointed with the care and attention that Susan will provide.
