Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs almost our entire 20 years together. We often take care of other people's dogs. Last year we moved out to a two acre property where we have one potcake (mutt) from Barbados. Our dog, Chester, is just out of the puppy stage and he loves other dogs.

Susan and Dan were provided great care for our dog George! It was clear that he felt comfortable right from the beginning of his stay, and we had peace of mind on our vacation knowing he was in good hands.
Susan is awesome with dogs and I highly recommend her for boarding. She and her husband are so kind and caring towards animals. Our foster dog stayed with Susan's family and had a great time playing with their dog Chester. We received updates throughout the entire period and the pictures and videos were much appreciated. Thank you Susan for a great stay!
My dog loves when he goes here! They takes him for long walks, he plays with their dog Chester, they have a large yard for him to run around, and even play fetch with him when I remember to bring his ball! It’s his home away from home. ❤️

Dogs that we care for in our home are treated like part of the family. They are allowed on most furniture and will sleep either in our room or if they are used to it and you prefer, they can sleep in a crate.

A typical day
We have a 2km walk we like to do with the dogs once a day if they are up for it. If not we can stick closer to home.

I am a teacher and my husband works from home so we have lots of time to devote to your four legged family member. We love taking the dogs for walks and including them in our home life. We also have chickens on the property, but they are fenced in their own area.
