Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs, albeit not professionally, my entire life. I love every animal, but there is something about the loyalty and unconditional love that a dog gives that makes these guys truly exceptional creatures. I am available most anytime, will treat your dog like my own, can administer meds, and will play til their hearts content. I live in a very quiet 55+ community and work from home every day, so your dog will never be lonely. And if you’d like, I will keep you updated with texts, photos, or phone calls so that you can rest assured your dog is being well cared for and receiving the attention they deserve. I am also a nurse, therefore, I can pick up on when your pup might not be feeling/acting quite right. It would be my pleasure and a joy to care for your pup. He/she will be in good hands,

Susan and Dan were great! They were communicative and sent photos to ensure our dog was doing ok. Never once did I need to reach out to them because they would beat me to it. He was happy when my boyfriend picked him up but from his behavior we could tell he was just fine with Susan and Dan. He is a rescue and they were understanding of this. We will definitely be using them again.

Susan and Dan took great care of our 3 year old golden retriever, he developed a hot spot while staying with them which they caught promptly and were able to take him to the vet for treatment which was amazing and gave us great peace of mind. We were thrilled to find Susan and Dan while we were here in SW Florida on vacation. They were so easy to communicate with and so thoughtful about his stay with them. He was safe, happy and wonderfully tired from his good time with them. We will be back next year and are so happy that Bingley can return too.

We have two small dogs of our own that love everyone and every creature. We always walk our dogs with harness and leash and both wear vaccination tags and are chipped. We take safety and security very seriously and will do the same with your dog. Our goal is to keep your dog’s preferences and routines as normal for them as possible to lessen fear and anxiety of being in a strange place. We invite you to bring their favorite toys, bedding, food, snacks, etc.

I would like to know your dogs favorite playtime and exercise activities, his/her typical daily routine, and anything else that will assist me with making your time away less stressful for your pup.
A typical day
We will go on daily walks around the neighborhood, weather permitting. We have a basket full of toys and both our dogs like to play, they just don’t have a great deal of stamina because they’re older. Every afternoon after work, we sit outside on the patio and let the pups lay in the sun or shade. We have no less than 6 dog beds throughout the house and steps to get onto the sofa. If you are comfortable with it, we can even take your pup on a golf cart ride around the neighborhood. Safety is essential so we have harnesses secured to the cart so that if a dog jumped or fell, they would still be safe from injury.
