Pet care experience
We are an active family that loves fresh air and exercise. We regularly walk, run, hike, and bike on the nearby trails and at Blackhoof park and Shawnee Mission park. We have 4 kiddos who love to cuddle and play with dogs. Our 10 year old black lab passed away a few years ago and we decided to wait for our next pet while raising the kids. While we don’t have a dog of our own right now, we love to cuddle our doggie friends when they come over to visit! We have a large fully fenced backyard so there is plenty of room to run around and play fetch. I am at home during the day so potty breaks and outside playtime are available all day long. I only accept 1 family of dogs at a time, so I can give my full attention to your fur baby! Doggies from the same family are always welcome to come together!

Susan + family were amazing for the week they had Liberty. I don’t want to leave too good of a review because then she won’t have room for us next time! Susan took my active dog on morning, and evening walks, played with her throughout the day and sent plenty of pictures! My dog almost seemed sad be home once she left Susan’s. Cannot wait to book again soon!

Dogs have free roam of the house but we could crate your dog when we are away if that is your preference. We live on a a cul de sac and have a fenced in backyard, making outside playtime easily available. We love to play with our doggie friends!

A typical day
We love to get fresh air and exercise. We usually start the day with a walk followed by lots of playtime in the backyard. Of course there is plenty of time for napping and snuggling on the couch.

Availability
I am a stay at home parent with 3 kids in school and 1 in preschool. Except for occasional errands or picking the kids up from school, I am at home most of the time so outside playtime and potty breaks can happen whenever needed.
