Pet care experience
I come from a family who in total has 16 dogs!. My husband and I have a 3 and 5 year old, and in March added a Lab retriever to our crew. We love dogs and would love to enjoy and love on the pups of others who need a genuine and trustworthy sitter, and home away from home. Our 16 family dogs include maltipoos, bassets, Chihuahuas, piekingese, mixes, lab and bull dogs. We are experienced with them all and love all breeds! My family is very active so dog walks and yard play are routine. My kids love playing with dogs and can keep yours entertained for hours! My usual doggy caretakers were not available during this time frame, so I decided to partner with Susan. Because of my doggies' needs and ages (one rambunctious puppy, one quirky adult, and one somewhat special needs senior), we arranged a pre-booking meet and greet at Susan's home to see if her set-up would be a good fit for us and also to see if they had chemistry with her. All three, Denali, Tanki and Otto immediately took to Susan's warm personality, my puppy started playing with her kids right away and all of them looooooved the oversized (fenced) yard. Susan was very flexible with scheduling drop off and pick up times, kept me updated about my pups throughout the visit and also sent me pics, which I loved seeing. Upon pick up my dogs seemed happy and well taken care of. I will certainly use Susan again and recommend her to anyone in need of a doggy caretaker.
I booked a stay for my three pups, Denali, Tanki and Otto for a three week stay in February 2020. This is the second time they have stayed with Susan and her family. My pups seem happy and well taken care of every time I pick them up! I love the fact that Susan's home has a huge fenced yard and she spends a good amount of time with them. Susan is great at providing updates, sending pictures and asking questions regarding best practices/care for the dogs including medication administration. She is super flexible also with drop off and pick up times. I am planning another trip for the spring and hope I will be able to leave my pack under Susan's care once again.
