Caring, responsible and equipped!

Pet care experience

I am a single woman with significant flexibility, reliable transportation, plenty of space in her home and a fenced-in yard. I had a boxer for 13 years and as she crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022, I have a ton of love in my heart reserved specifically for pups that I'm ready to share again. I have watched friends' dogs often and I enjoy all types of dogs, big and strong athletic dogs, little cuddlers, lazy ones, etc. I am available to keep your fur-baby overnight, stay at your home or drop in for walks, bathroom breaks, etc.

Susan had great communication with me throughout the day. She asked me a ton of questions before watching bubba to make sure he was getting the best care. I will definitely be booking with Susan in the future. Bubba has such a great day!

Very happy we found Susan and decided to go with her. She was very warm and inviting with us and Leo from the very beginning! We definitely will be reoccurring clients of hers!

Susan is so caring and attentive to my senior dog Dino (almost 18 yo) needs. She takes her times to meet and greet Dino and listen to all his routines and needs. She send me updates during his stay. You can tell when someone is a super dog loving person and Susan is definitely it. She cares for Dino as if he is her own and I truly appreciate it.

I have a fenced in yard with direct access to it from the kitchen. Pets staying with me will have a few options of where they can stay in the house and I will have a transparent conversation with all owners about arrangements prior to any booking. I understand completely that everyone has raised their dogs in their own ways with their own preferences and it's critical that we are aligned on how your dog will be cared for during his/her stay. If your dog is a crate trained dog, I'm okay with this! If your dog is not crate trained and has the occasional accident, I can work with this and we can agree upon a set up that protects my home and still makes you and your pup comfortable. Reach out so we can figure out a plan that works for both of us! In your home, you can expect the utmost care and respect for your home, your privacy and your fur-baby. I have been a home owner for a decade now and I deeply understand how sacred your home is and how much care homes take. Again, I believe clear and honest conversations are the basis for successful partnerships and will rely on our shared transparency to drive how your pet is cared for in your home.

Information Susan C. would like to know about your pet

It's helpful for me to know the commands you use with your pup, how he/she is kept safe when you leave the home and anything he/she reacts to, such as other dogs, children, cats, etc.

A typical day

I am grateful for a neighborhood with a park and a walking path and sidewalks throughout, making walks easy and safe for the pups that visit me. I also enjoy being in my fenced-in backyard and play with dogs there too.
