Walks, Belly Rubs and Snuggles!!
Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my life since I was born and I believe they are as important as any member of the family. I live 1 block from Astoria park so although it's not technically my yard, it's like having the entire park as a yard. However I will never allow dogs off leash in my care as their safety is my priority! You can be sure that I will always give your dog the same attention and love as if they were my own. I have a soft spot for senior dogs too. And if they need medicine or special care I'm happy to give that though I prefer not to do shots. My building has an elevator so older dogs won't have to worry about climbing stairs. They are also always allowed on the furniture here! And I promise daily pictures and updates while you are away. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: 1. I know what it's like to have things pop up last minute and how stressful it can be when you need to have someone care for your fur baby. I will do last minute boarding and day care but I do prefer a chance to have us meet if at all possible. I think it's less stressful for you and for your baby. 2. Below are a few notes on specific days and times since Rover doesn't allow me to get specific. Times are approximate and I'm flexible based on distance and situation. --- Doggy Day Care: I'm available most days for daycare though I occasionally get freelance work outside of the house but I'll know before we book. My preferred hours are 7:00am to 9:00pm. I can be flexible on later hours if needed. Please note that if you are within walking distance I'm happy to swing by for pick ups and drop offs but prefer you to drop off if it is before 9:00am or pick up after 7:00pm. --Dog Boarding: There may be days that I'm out of the house during daytime working hours however I have several very trusted dog walkers to come in for walks and feeding if that's the case. Your dog will never be left on its own for more than 4.5 hours. I know many work and their dogs are used to being alone during the day. And depending on my schedule I may be at home all day. We can discuss all during our initial meet and greet. My aim is to treat your dogs as well as you would, they are a member of your family and will be a member of mine while here! -- Drop-in and Walking Services: I cover Astoria or areas easily accessible by the N or W. Please contact me ahead of time for a meet and greet and to discuss details. I hope you'll choose me for your future pet care needs and I look forward to making their stay as comfy and fun as being at home!
Reviews
Susan is very attentive and always responds promptly. Susan is extremely thoughtful of our cats and goes above and beyond. She also takes great pics!
We were traveling throughout Southeast Asia and Susan saved the day when she took on caring for Sherlock over the last two weeks. She was always in constant communication via texts, emails, and Rover cards throughout the entire trip. We loved how responsive she was to Sherlock's needs and took the time to get to know all his quirks. I would highly recommend Susan!
Susan was great with our cat. Sent a lot of pictures and was very thorough in telling us how she was doing and responding promptly. Will book again!
Susan is amazing! She cared for my 17 year old grumpy kitty with loving expertise. She was able to set up her meals and medication according to the time schedule my cat needed. It was such a relief to know my cat was in good hands. I highly recommend Susan for all your pet needs!

A typical day
We will take walks in Astoria Park which is a block away. If you are boarding with me please send one or two favorite toys and it's always good to send an article of your clothing or a favorite blanket for comfort. They'll get lots of cuddling, scratches and belly rubs. If you are currently training your dog certain commands please let me know so I can continue their training while with me. I am also equipped for dogs who need to use or prefer to use potty pads.
