Four years ago, caring for people's precious pets became a retirement job when my name started being passed around my friend's town in Arizona. Dogs and cats are the usual pets but I've had chickens, donkeys, geese, goats, and a snake in my repertoire. So if your dog has friends, I can be with them too. I've been told that the dogs and cats I stay with for a month at a time are especially relaxed when their people come home and one of those dogs has special needs. A pug's person said Frankie looked like she'd been to a spa. I've been known to keep a border collie busy and to gleefully snuggle with an Australian shepherd. I do love each unique dog and cat.
