Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover all my life and I feel like it’s a form of therapy when I’m in their company. Throughout my life I’ve had different pets in different periods of time such as raising baby chicks to chickens, raising kittens and taking care of cats, as well as having a bunny, birds, and fish at one point! I understand the struggles it comes as a pet parent when something comes up out of our busy schedule and we’re in need to find a sitter. I find this side job as a form of therapy and to do good by helping others when they need it. :)
Reviews
Initially I was hesitant about getting a sitter for my weeklong trip as I was not sure how Pie was going to respond to someone else taking care of her. I was drawn to Susan's detailed and caring profile and I had a suspicion that it would be a reflection in her care (it is :) ). We had an initial meeting and we connected very well where we talked for hours. She is a kind and caring person and is enthusiastic about making sure that the pet and human is most comfortable with the care and communications. Everyday I was sent many photos and videos as updates and it was wonderful to see how happy Pie was to have her company, even on the first day! I was surprised as my cat is so timid and shy with everyone else but Susan was able to gain Pie's trust right away. I was able to see how excited Pie was to see her everyday, and she even drooled from happiness! When I came back from my trip, Pie was as happy as a clam and the apartment was exactly the same as I left it. Susan was also able to accommodate any last minute requests that I had. The communication and care that she gives is above and beyond what I imagined and I will definitely be only booking her for any future trips I may have.

All animals deserve to be treated with love, care, attention, and to be respected when they need their space! I have experience with cats as well as having many family members that have cats as well. In fact, I have a cousin that traps stray cats around her neighborhood and fostering them until they are completely groomed, healthy, spayed/neutered, and have received all their vaccines. Once she does so, she tries to find a home for each of them. She currently is taking care of 10 cats, and is continuing on doing this rewarding and fulfilling hobby. When it comes to the services I can provide, I can routinely clean your pet’s litter box in a timely manner when needed, playing with them to give them an adequate amount of exercise and stimulation, as well as feeding and cuddling with them! I am also able to provide oral medication if needed. :)
Information Susan B. would like to know about your pet
If there are any concerns or any particularities that I should know to ensure I’m providing the best care for your kitty, please let me know! Are there any specific treats or food they like to eat? Do they have allergies? Do they have any health conditions that require more care? I’m more than happy to make your fur baby as well as the parent as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
Each cat has their own unique behaviors and personality traits which also ranges on what they individually enjoy doing! That being said, I have a lot of experience using the cat wand and lazer to stimulate the cats and help them get active. Sometimes I turn on the TV or play on my phone some bird videos or stimulating mice videos to keep them interested! I like to use treats to help them become more familiar with me if needed and I definitely love to pet and have them sitting on my laps or next to me!
