Reviews
Susan took on my baby Lola on very short notice after her last sitter stopped doing rover. She was very communicative with photos and updates throughout Lola’s stay. I will be using her again the following week. I definitely would recommend this sitter!
We hired Susan to stay at our home and look after our two dogs while we were away on a four-day trip out of town. During preliminary conversations she indicated that she worked from home and thus would be present at our house most of the time. She asked about our dogs normal schedule for meals, walks, etc. and we not only explained these in detail but also wrote them down. We left her some cash in case anything unforeseen should arise. Rather than following these guidelines Susan left the house for extended periods of time (7-8 hours or more), completely ignored the schedule we described to her, and mainly left our dogs to look after themselves. We learned this after the fact by reviewing security camera recordings. On the day we were returning home we texted her to let her know we would be home in the early afternoon. Strangely, she left the house at 12:30 p.m. without waiting for our return or without even leaving us a note. She helped herself to $20.00 of the cash we had left without explanation. Our dogs are fine, no harm done. But what bothers us more than anything else is her dishonesty. Needless to say we would not recommend Susan. Finally, we would like to add that it gives us no pleasure to leave a review like this. We had honestly hoped that things would work out well so that we could hire her on a regular basis going forward. Our first inclination was to leave no review at all (as we did when our first Rover house/dog sitter also turned out to be a very negative experience). But we decided that the right thing to do was to leave an honest review so that others who might consider hiring Susan would be forewarned.
Wow what an amazing experience! Susan watched my dog Willow while I went on vacation and she went above and beyond! My dog was very comfortable with her and she sent photos every day! Definitely highly recommend her!
Susam did a great job! Good feedback, kept the house very clean. Took the dogs out for an hour for house showing. I was pleased enough to rebook her again

A typical day
I like to play fetch, go for a hike, visit a dog park, or play with toys in the backyard. As for special places to go on walks, it's always a good idea to check with the dog owners regarding their preferences and if there are any restrictions in the area. Some dogs may enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, while others might prefer a more adventurous hike in the mountains or a run on the beach. It's all about catering to the dog's personality and energy levels.
