We become best friends. I grew up with a German Shepherd. Then as an adult I've rescued dogs since my first possibly a golden doodle daughter in a doggie suit in the 70's. I've owned a number of dogs at one time. A Welch Corgi, terrier Heinz 57.. A Yorkie.. Standard poodle and Cats too. I'm without an animal because my 22 year old rescue cat died and our landlord won't let me have another. So I need doggie and cat fixes. My husband just isn't fluffy enough. My volunteer work allows me to meet different pets and frequently home owners will say, "I don't know why my dog likes you. He doesn't like anyone." One owner's cat stays in a back room until she hears my voice and comes out to jump on the table to be petted. My friend was sitting two min pins. She was shocked they both were in my lap within 10 min without coaxing. They always hid when strangers were over. What can I say.. Another friend told me not to try to pet the corgi. I just loved him with my words and within 5 min he was up on his hind legs with his front paws on my lap. They too were surprised. So bottom line I'm not afraid of size and would love to love yours and cats too. I'm a retired teacher so reliability is in my nature. I look forward to meeting you and your kids.
