I come from a family of pet lovers and rescuers. I have always had dogs, and have always taken in the pets of friends and neighbors. My yard is fenced, and my house is dog friendly. My dog is welcome on the furniture, and so is yours! I always make sure I understand your dog's routine, food and eating preferences, walking schedule, and where they like to sleep. It is important that they feel safe and comfortable while they are with me. I have cared for dogs with medical issues, senior dogs, and multiple dogs from the same family. I was an educator for 30 years, and bring the skills I developed in understanding individual needs, behavior and positive interactions into my care for your dog. My place has been dubbed "Camp Cricket" by the friends and neighbors who bring their dogs to stay. Cricket is the name of my dog, who takes her job as head counselor very seriously. She shows visitors where to go potty, the best places to sniff, where we go on walks, and all the important doggy info. I hope to see your pup at Camp Cricket soon!
