We were initially worried about leaving our shih tzu with a new dog minder because he is such a fussy eater and has a few health issues but Susan Ann looked after him really well and sent regular daily updates and he seemed to enjoy his time with Susan Ann and her husband We would be more than happy to have him stay again
We couldn’t ask for a better dog minding service! Susan and Julian were wonderful foster parents to my French bulldog whilst we went away to visit family for 2 weeks! Our Frenchie had recently had an operation so we were worried about going away but Susan put my mind at rest and Lexie was pampered and loved for every second of her stay! Lexie is quite fussy with her food, Susan went out of her way to find foods that she liked even hand making the meals herself! We have finally found someone we can trust with our pampered pooch and would highly recommend Susan and Julian. Thank you so much, Lexie is missing you and hopes to see you again soon! Xx

No other pets or children will be present when I look after your dog(s) so if your dog(s) is/are not used to living with other pets or children there is no need to worry. Your dog won't be left alone either to get anxious in unfamiliar surroundings (unless discussed with owner first) there can always be someone at home (we are retired). My husband is excellent with dogs and likes to go for walks with them.

I will not look after some breeds of dogs. When I receive a request I will decide then whether to go ahead with a booking or not.
A typical day
I have many years of looking after older dogs. Administering their medicine. Not able to administer injections though. I encourage older dogs to eat and take them out for gentle walks if they are able. I have even purchased some dog steps to help them onto the bed if they want to go. Usually they don't want to get down though.

Availability
Experienced and the love for dogs are what makes me unique as a dog boarder. If you are looking for a quiet stress free secure and happy place for your dog to relax, look no further. Safe house and garden with lawn at the top of the garden steps. The house is in a nice quiet no through road. Woods 5 minutes away, parks nearby, beach 10 minutes in the car.
