Update 02/13/24 I am back to the office 3 full-days a week. I will no longer be able to accept boarding Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. For my current clients, I will do my best to make my schedule work with yours and am working with my employer to cover all reservations already booked. It's been a fun run that I knew eventually would end. Weekend trips I'm still around and can work from home Monday and Friday. I have been a dog owner for 20+ years and active rescue foster for 10+ years since Hurricane Katrina. Dozens of pups have blessed this house. In 2019 I lost both of my senior labs and was not ready for another full time pet. I started dog sitting for friends over the holidays and really enjoyed it. Then COVID hit. March 2020 I became full time work at home status and Rover was a blessing from the isolation. Now that things are opening up again and life goes on, it's time to travel again! Dogs deserve a vacation too and to be spoiled when family is away! My home is quiet and low stress. I have a fenced yard and gated neighborhood for leisurely walks. They have a large window to watch the world go by when I am not home. I have hosted 5 lb chihuahuas to a 180 lb. English Mastiff. Giant breeds can be difficult to board. Large dogs are welcome here. If your dog loves to run, there is room to play ball in the back yard. I haven't met a dog yet that I didn't get along with quickly. However, my HOA as understanding as they are, does have breed restrictions for pitt bulls. As much as I believe this is a dog specific issue. I have to respect the rules. **Please note: I do require meet and greet prior to accepting your pup. This is not negotiable.** 10 minutes at a local park near my home. After that, call me any time.
