“We don’t deserve dogs, yet they accept and adore us” I just want to give them whatever I can. Hey everyone! I’m Suryamshu and am new to the Rover community. I’m a lifetime dog owner, who took care of neighbourhood puppies of all kind since I was 8 - naively, but happily for free, till I turned 18. I volunteer at a shelter on the weekends, and mainly work with reactive dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes.

Suryamshu is our dog’s favorite walking companion! Our dog is reactive and Suryamshu does a great job ensuring triggers are avoided and our R+ training is continued on each and every walk. And he sends great pictures!

Trustworthy - that’s the word all my K9 friends have used to describe me. They smelt it quickly, and their human friends concur. My dog is a reactive and we go for long walks in the middle of downtown DC - so I have the experience to care for your pup’s space and needs. I’ve sat houses for a while and have been told that I’m low-maintenance. I’d simply find a corner to work from - preferably with your pup cuddles right beside me.

A typical day
I love to keep your dog engaged physically and mentally. We usually explore the parks nearby, go on adventures and build puzzles at home (such as Hide-and-sniff, find-it, pack the food in cartons,etc)

Availability
I work from home, so am flexible with my schedule. I can take you pup out during the day for a walk, or even home sit while you’re away during the week! Do note that I charge extra for last-minute requests. Reach out for details! Unfortunately, I can’t dog sit since we share our 1BHK with our dog - and he is very protective of his home!
