Pet care experience
I have a long history of dogwalking and dogsitting – I've been doing it since I was 12 years old! I've cared for dogs big and small, from Pomerians to Shepherds. I've created a philosophy about pet sitting from my years of experience: listen to the animal. Continual play and frequent walks are all well and good, but monitoring behavior prevents accidents (and unnecessary vet visits) from happening. That said, let a dog be a dog! I believe in monitoring behavior but not preventing fun. I have special experience with puppies – I raised my own dog from four weeks! I'm also experienced with large dogs (55-100 pounds). Above all, I'm passionate about caring for pups.

Sunny was EXCELLENT! She is very sweet and caring and we really enjoyed getting to know her. She sent photos and videos while we were gone and took our dog on walks even though it wasn't required. We'll definitely be using her again! If you live in the Hyde Park area, Sunny is an awesome option for a drop in visit!
I have known Sunny for three years, and she is as an incredibly friendly, warm and reliable individual. She is extremely loving of both people and animals, and I have entrusted her with the care of my Dachshund Emma (who can be quite a handful) on several occasions. Each time, Sunny has diligently followed Emma’s eating schedule, walked her frequently and, best of all, showered her with love and affection. Sunny is extremely patient and handles even my rowdy pup with the kindest of care. Sunny’s responsible nature and enthusiasm make her the ideal dog walker and pet sitter. I highly, highly recommend her as someone to be trusted with any furry friend! :-)

A typical day
We'll go on 30+ minute walks through Hyde Park, taking advantage of a sweet neighborhood park with grass. We'll play catch, tug-of-war and other fun pup games. With the owner's permission, I love to take pups to cool places – like trips to Red Bud Island and Zilker Park! I provide bones for dogs to chew on.
