For the last three years, I acted as co-parent to my sister's dog. They moved recently, and I am secretly sadder about losing her dog's companionship. She is a rescue dog who needs special care due to past trauma, so I understand how to handle dogs with gentle care. Though she is one of the sweetest dogs, she is also leash-aggressive, so I am familiar with walking those who may not want to socialize with other dogs and/or people.
