Pet care experience
I have always been around dogs and I adore them. I have previous experience working in both a kennel and a pet store/doggie day spa, I also volunteer at the animal shelter on weekends walking dogs! I'm a long time vegan and animal advocate and I will treat your dog with all the kindness and love that they deserve. Our pets are part of our families, and I get that, and I will make sure your dog is loved and happy every time I see them! I'm currently a social worker and work Mon-Fri 8-4, but would be perfect for walking your pups during lunch hours, evenings, or weekends. I am a mom to two grumpy cats, so sadly, no pups would be able to spend the night, but we do have a big fenced-in back yard to run around in for dogs who maybe like to play by themselves. :)

I do NOT have any breed preferences- I love and welcome all dogs! I would, however, love for you tell me a few things about your dog before I take them on a walk or for a ride in the car: -Do they pull on a leash? -How are they around other dogs/would they do well at a dog park? -Does your dog have any allergies (if I bring treats)? -Are they afraid of anything in particular? -Do you feel like there is anything in particular about walking your dog that I might find challenging or need to know in advance?
A typical day
I live in East Nashville, so I love to go to Shelby Bottoms for a run on the greenway, but if you prefer your pup to stay in your neighborhood, I can take them for a stroll/run/jog wherever you feel most comfortable. I like to bring treats for my pup friends, but if your fur child is watching their treats (or has an allergy I should know about!), I can swap their treat out for some carrot sticks!
