Pet care experience
Back on Rover after a long hiatus! I run a dog boarding business Denali Dogworks (Licensed and Insured) and we pride ourselves in taking personalized care of our boarders. I take in only one dog at a time for boarding. This allows me to treat your dog with the same care and attention that I treat my own - with plenty of patience, structure, care and routine. *Only crate-trained dogs accepted for boarding reservations. *Mandatory meet for all new clients prior to booking any boarding service.

Su is passionate, attentive and has a strong work ethic to boot. I don't trust many people with my dogs but Su is a huge exception. My dogs love her naturally. There was no bribing, just a genuine understanding of comfort. She is always trying to learn and expand her knowledge of dogs and everything related. She really is a very well rounded animal care taker. You can rest at ease, whether they are going for a walk or staying the week. They will get the best attention and be mentally satisfied too! She keeps the boundaries you establish and can even help train more!
Sue (and her trusty sidekick, Denali) watched my 2 yo Doberman Kenobi at her house for 10 days over the holidays. I can’t speak highly enough about Sue! Scheduling with her was very smooth. She was very flexible, accommodating my raw feeding practice and even picking up/dropping off Kenobi from a nearby kennel (which I used for the part of my vacation for which Sue was already booked.). Sue communicated with me every day, sending pictures and status updates. Sue is a skilled trainer, and kept my bruiser of a boy in line! (Which makes him happy!). What’s more, Kenobi and Denali got along swimmingly — and I got to see all kinds of Kenobi smiles during their playtime in the photos that Sue sent. I will absolutely use Sue again, and you should too!
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Sunethra (Sue) is. She has a special, innate bond with animals. She came into our lives as my dog’s trainer (magician) and has continued on as my dog’s walker and ‘home away from home’ when I’m out of town. My Charlie adores her! I’m a worrier by trade, but I have NEVER worried about Charlie when she is with Sue. She sends pics, updates, and keeps me posted. The fact that I board Charlie with her says it all. I have never boarded any of my pets. She is kind, caring, knowledgeable and I trust her like family :)
Sunethra is AMAZING! We normally bring our Siberian Husky girl, Timber, to the breeder for boarding when we need to leave town, but our breeder recently retired and we turned to Sunethra for last minute help. I can not rave enough about her, her home, her professionalism, AND her own wonderful dog, Denali. After our initial meet and greet, I could tell my husky not only loved her fenced back yard, but also LOVED playing with her sweet, playful dog. We were gone for 8 days, and each and every day I got photo and text updates that were so sweet and so re-assuring. My husky was so bonded to her malamute that I felt bad picking her up at the end! Sunethra and her husband are the loveliest people and there home is immaculate AND dog friendly. Timber was taken to the dog park and given walks and plenty of play time outside. She had a wonderful time, and I was able to relax knowing that she was in incredible care. I have found my boarding replacement!

I do not usually let the dogs play with each other while boarding. They all co-exist wonderfully. Your dog’s safety is my top priority - so, all interactions (if any) with my dogs will always be under close supervision.

Meet and greets are mandatory prior to booking. It gives us time to see how the dogs get along and time to run through any questions that either of us might have. • Is your dog potty trained and crate trained? • Is your dog good with other dogs? • Does your dog have any obedience? • Does your dog have any resource guarding tendencies? • Does your dog have any food allergies? • Does your dog have any behavioral concerns I should be aware of?
A typical day
S/he will get potty breaks and a daily walk around the neighborhood. A game of fetch or tug for the pups that need more acitivity. We also have a dogpacer to walk and run the dogs in case of extreme weather conditions.
