Pet care experience
Hello! I have been an animal lover my entire life - dogs, cats, birds, horses you name it. Growing up, there were at least 4 animals in our household at any given time and nowadays, at least one - I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, field mice, guinea pigs, tarantulas, and lizards. I have had many pets and I have taken care of friend's and family member's pets for over 15 years. I love connecting with each of them. I have experience with geriatric dogs as well as pups and have a special appreciation for the full spectrum of pooches out there - young to old, small to large. I consider myself very sensitive to an animals needs. I am a working artist and am at home very often. I would love to hear about your dog and his/her special needs, and I look forward to getting to know your special friend(s). Animals make this world a better place and I would be honored to take special care of your's - give your pup(s) the love and safety they deserve!

As our dogs get older, its harder and harder to find care for them when we leave town. Boarding just seems cruel and with their special needs a couple of visits a day just isn't enough. We've always been hesitant about letting a stranger stay in our home but at this point it was our only option. After sharing our dilemma with a neighbor, she told us about Rover and in particular a house/pet sitter she had used named Sunday. Sunday saved us! She took excellent care of our dogs and house while we were gone. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing in home pet sitting. She is trustworthy and loves animals. She really put my mind at ease. So happy we found her!
I can't find enough adjectives to fully express what a wonderful, loving, kind, gentle, compassionate, and intelligent approach Sunday uses with my sweet Mr Qi. Doggies love her squeaky high pitched 'fun voice' - right in their hearing range! Her property is a dream, 3 1/2 acres to explore (on leash), deer and squirrels to bark at, and the healing energy of ancient oaks. I never want my babies with anyone else!
Sunday is the Mary Poppins of pet sitters. Hands down the best pet sitter I have ever had. Caring, kind, intuitive are just a few of the words I would use to describe Sunday demeanor around pets. I am a professional pet sitter and EXPECT a lot. Miss Sunday did even more. Thank you Sunday!! Already booking my next reservation.

We could play fetch or frisbee, go for hikes along one of the many Green Belts in Austin or around the neighborhood, go for a drive ([if requested by you, of course] - you know your dog loves this!), and have lots of snuggles.
