Pet care experience
Animals of all kinds have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From walking our family Afghan hounds around the busy streets of the bay area or our Golden through the woods of VA. to caring for dogs and cats at an animal shelter in MI and hosting many fosters as well as hospice and post operative care animals in my home to having a small rescue farm in WI. I now share a home with an English Mastiff and 4 cats. I have a lot of experience with all kinds of issues like potty training, basic commands, walking on a leash, giving medication as needed or even some gentle massage for older pets and grooming of cats and dogs or even goats if you need it.

We took our overactive German Shepard X Australian Cattle Dog and very fluffy cat for to Summers for a 6 day stay. They both had a very good time and made friends with the resident dog and 4 cats. Summers provided multiple updates and photos / videos. We were out of state and very comfortable with the boarding. Would definitely use again!
When I first met Summers she had an animal rescue farm with goats, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and even a donkey. She has taking care of my dog on multiple occasions and he loves her very much. She is the most kind hearted and caring person I have ever met. She loves all animals she meets and treats them with the love and compassion all our furry friends deserves. She has worked in animal rescue facilities and has done what she can to make them more loving and caring facilities. She takes home the ones that need the extra attention to make sure they get healthy or if they are near the end she takes them home to give them the love the deserve for the end. I recommend her for any pet as no one else will give them the love and care she can give them.

We have a large yard with 6ft fence for playtime, and the the forest right behind us for hikes. If your pet isn't too sure about other animals we have a furnished apartment upstairs they can have all to themselves.

A typical day
We have multiple baskets filled with toys for the playful pets, room to roam for the energetic types and lots of warm cozy nap zones. I often bake homemade treats for the dogs and hand sew cat toys.

As a pet portrait artist, I work from home and can stop what I'm doing in an instant, should your buddy need a potty break, a hike or just some extra attention.
