Dogs: I go on walks fairly often already for my health, adding a good doggo or pupper will make the walks better! And, my current job is only part-time, so I'm available a lot. I am a smaller person, so if your dog is bigger, they need to be trained. The apartment complex I live in has plenty of space to take them on a nice walk. In terms of pet-sitting, I do have two cats at home, so I could stay at your house if you need me to, but I would have to be able to take care of them as well. The longest pet-sitting I've done was over a summer, about three months, for an adult cat and dog (about 40 or so lbs). Cats: I really love cats. Both of mine are rescues. My cat with anxiety is my emotional support animal, actually. He's 5 and I adopted him when he was about a baby and he imprinted on me. He and my 1 year old kitten both were abandoned less than a couple weeks old. I had to bottle feed both of them. Every time a friend says that their cat is shy or hates people, I tend to be the exception. I guess I have a trusting scent or something! I don't have a car (trying to raise money to get one), which is why my mile-radius is so small, but if you are willing to meet downtown, I'll take them on the dogwood trail or the park for you. If you're okay with them getting a little dirty, we can even go down to the creek! Also, for personal safety reasons, I don't walk in the dark.
