Hi I’m Summer! I am looking for the opportunity to work with animals in my free time outside of work. I am a true animal lover who will give your pet all the attention they could want- including walks and potty breaks 3-4x/day. I have a dog of my own named Dolly (Bichon-Poodle mix)- she is friendly and probably won’t even notice your pet around (she’s a senior who likes to cuddle and sleep most of the day). I always like to do a meet and greet between the dogs to make sure they get along before committing to long bookings! I run a very clean household and I am very patient with animals and their needs. I am available for pet sitting/check-ups and day walks after work or on weekends. Please contact me with questions you may have. I also do dog baths + blow dry upon request! If you decide to have me pet sit, it is important that you write me a care list for your animal including the veterinarian’s number for emergencies. I want to give your pet the best care possible, which means details, details, details from you! I want to hear them! :)

Summer is one of the sitters that I will not have any worries if I leave my Rice with her. She sends updates and pictures daily and gives a lot of attention to our pup. Will recommend!
Summer is amazing and so thoughtful. My pup was being challenging not wanting to walk outside so instead of cutting the walk time short she offer to give him playtime and personal attention. I would recommend her because she is so caring!
Summer is extremely caring and tries her best to understand the dog she is taking care of. She personalizes the care she is providing to best meet the needs of the dog and we felt extremely satisfied the whole time our dog was with her. We genuinely enjoyed her care and really recommend her for anyone who is looking for a thoughtful caretaker for their dog.
It was great leaving my dog with Summer. I felt like my dog was in safe caring hands at all times. I got pictures every day on his several walks and great updates on how he was doing. I will definitely be leaving my dog with Summer again. Thank you!!

I take my dog outside for walks and potty breaks about 4x/day. That’s the schedule I will stick to with your pet as well unless there are other requests. I live in an apartment that has a dog walk. However, most of the time I will take dogs I’m sitting to the nearest dog parks to socialize with other dogs and get the exercise they need. I have 3 dog parks near my building, all within 0-2 block radius!

How can I make your animal feel most comfortable? What kind of behaviors should I expect from your pet at the beginning of care and throughout the stay?
A typical day
I like to give dogs plenty of exercise which means at least two long walks a day plus pee breaks! When I walk dogs, I make sure to take them to safe, clean areas and keep them on a tight leash in the city!

Availability
I work in the office Monday - Thursday, and remotely on Fridays! My partner comes home early everyday around 3pm and will take care of our dog Dolly + any other pets staying with us until I get home.
