Summer cared for our 5 dogs, our cat, and 2 foster kittens over a 5-day holiday. That’s 8 pets! With the variety of animals, ages, personalities, individual routines, and varying special needs (supplements, health conditions, varying playgroups, diets, etc.)— our household requires a lot more than average from a caretaker. In some ways, maintaining our home and taking care of our fur babies is like operating a mini kennel! These babies are our hearts, so It truly takes a special person to make us feel at ease leaving our diverse crew and our home in another person’s hands. Summer did not disappoint! Because of the specific needs of our household, Summer thoughtfully scheduled time with us before our trip to make sure she had all our routines down. When it came to departure day, we had no doubt our crew would be well taken care of. Summer flat-out did an amazing job. She meticulously managed everything while benevolently going out of her way to give each of our babies extra time and attention. It was a great comfort to us the way Summer stepped in to be "their person" while we were away. For the duration of our trip, communication was perfect and we were provided daily updates. We never had a moment of worry while we were away. When we returned home it was clear to us that our animals, as well as our home had all been very well cared for. I think it’s important to note: While this trip came with no surprises, we feel confident Summer would capably navigate and communicate with us should a situation outside the ordinary arise in our absence. This is an invaluable quality to find in a caretaker. We are truly grateful for the superior level of care and peace of mind she provided our family. We would definitely book Summer again, as well as recommend her to others.

Summer is an experienced and thoughtful animal caregiver having raised and successfully cared for a number of rescue pets of her own.
