Pet care experience
My name is Summer Hanks & my husband, young daughter and I are from Ogden, Utah. I’ve owned and worked with dogs my entire life and I’ve even cared for dogs with special needs during my work experience at the shelter. I know how to help animals with diabetes & special medical needs if needed. We own 3 cats who believe they are dogs but can be separated in their own room if needed. We also have a very submissive dog who absolutely adores having friends to play with. She is kennel trained though, so again, separation can happen if needed. Your dog will receive treatment & care as if they’re my own. We would love to have your fur baby come and stay with us! Also, daily pictures & updates. Our dog enjoyed playing with Summer’s dogs. Summer was also super nice and gave us updates throughout the stay. Only complaint was that she came home super dirty and smelly which was a bit annoying because her groomer was fully booked. She also had an upset stomach and diarrhea for 2ish days after. She really enjoyed spending hours getting muddy and laying in their horse trough water though. Water is her favorite thing in the world.
Summer was so patient with our new puppy and went the extra mile to safely introduce her dogs allowing our puppy to socialize. It was a great experience for our puppy and us knowing she was in good hands. Thank you Summer!!!
Summer was awesome! She sent videos and pictures of Baelfire throughout his stay. It felt like they loved him as their own. We will definitely use them again.
Summer was attentive and communicated well. Our dog Charlie came home completely at ease. Summer sent an update and photos daily. We will definitely use Summer to watch Charlie again.

If you don’t want them to be allowed on furniture, we will respect that and hold that boundary at our house as well. If you allow on furniture at your house, rest assured they’re allowed here as well! We try to make the transition as smooth as possible based on what your animals are used to.

We love to know how they interact with other dogs, cats, and kids. We also like to know if they’re kennel trained. For safety purposes, we like to kennel our dogs when we leave, but it is not a requirement for your dog to be kennel trained to stay here.
A typical day
There is a memorial park right across from our house where we can go for walks. We can also play outside in the fenced yard. We have a dog who loves to play if your dog would like as well!

Availability
Both my husband and I work from home, so we are almost always home and available to take care of your fur babies! We have our own animals as well, so we are already on the routine of daily care for them. Your pets will fit right in!
