Pet care experience
I’ve had all sorts of pets ever since I was a toddler! I’ve taken care of many types of animals; from turtles to bunnies, to dogs and cats! I’ve had sick pets before in my family whom we’ve had to administer medication to and had special diets; this gave me more experience with animals who have special needs, and I love them all equally!

I’ve had Summer watch my dog quite a few times. She’s always very reliable, quick to respond, and happy to make times work last minute. Shes watched my dog, Poppy, many times, sometimes just for walks and sometimes for longer periods of time. Poppy absolute LOVES Summer and gets so excited whenever she sees her. Summer has a clear love for all animals, especially dogs. I would highly recommend Summer for any pet sitting needs!!

I live in an apartment at the moment with one other person and plenty of free empty rooms. My preferred services won’t be to keep a pet with me overnight and I’d prefer to stay wherever your pet resides, as it would be less stressful on them than staying in a new environment in an apartment. But I would make any adjustments I could make to keep your pet comfortable if they stayed with me! As for walks, I live near Washburne park and plenty of other parks and beautiful trails to take your fluffy friend on :-)
Information Summer J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what your pet is like behavior-wise! Are they calm-tempered? Do they prefer relaxing walks or jogs? Do they get easily stressed out by anything in particular? Do they have any allergies I need to know about? What is their negative response like physically? How well-socialized are they?
A typical day
I love walking dogs around their own home so they can feel more comfortable in an environment familiar to them! I also love keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with physical activity and little games i come up with for them involving new smells, new sights, new sensations or introducing toys that have them think for a little longer (hiding treats in rolled up blankets, Snuffle Mats, setting up Kongs), I also am a big fan of relaxing with pets and finding their special petting spot, their favorite napping area around the house, their favorite scent on walks, etc.

I’m done with my college semester so I’m free for the summertime and staying in Eugene for a while. My schedule is very flexible and I’m free almost every day!
