Hi! I'm Summer, I have been in Boston for a year now. I have a degree in Marine Science and am a full time biologist in Boston. I have cared for friend's and family member's dogs for many years, and worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility in south Florida working with both small and large breeds. I also worked for Wag as a dog walker and sitter for a few years. For the last 8 years I have been working as a marine biologist caring for various animals such as sharks, fish, stingrays, jellyfish and corals! I’ve owned both cats and dogs in the past and present. I would love to care for your furry companion! I am looking for dogs and cats who need walks, runs, play time and overnight care at their home.

I don't have enough good things to say about Summer-- she was the perfect sitter for our pets! This was the first time we hired someone to come into our home to watch our two dogs and cat, and Summer made us feel comfortable with the situation from the beginning. Summer was always prompt and clear in her communication with us. We could tell from her daily updates and photos that she was taking the time to get to know our pets and their personalities, which was a great comfort. While our pets were happy to see us upon our return, we could tell they were happy and well cared for in our absence. Summer also treated our apartment respectfully, and things were as we left them when we arrived home. We hope she will be available the next time we are out of town!
Summer did a great job taking care of my dog while I was away on vacation. Grady can be a bit of a handful, but she was able to handle him with no problems. I knew that he was in good hands! She was always very communicative and sent daily updates. And the house was just as clean as when I left!
Summer is absolutely a wonderful pet/house sitter. We just got back last night from 9 days away and the dogs were so well cared for. She communicates well and the dogs weee happy when we returned, but we can tell they enjoyed her. She is always at the top of our list for help with our dogs.
Summer was absolutely fantastic! She stayed in our home with our 6 month old puppy for a long weekend. She kept us updated with many pictures and was extremely flexible and accommodating. We will be using her again very soon!

I am comfortable walking dogs that pull, dogs that aren’t friendly towards other dogs, I can crate dogs, bathe dogs, befriend cats who are shy, even practice some basic training skills if interested.

A typical day
Walks around your neighborhood, parks, or the beach. Wherever you and your pet are comfortable with! If I’m cat or dog sitting we would play indoors also with all of their fun toys! Lots of pets as well!

My usual days off are Sundays and Mondays. Im available any other days as well and have a flexible work schedule. Im available to stay overnight any night of the week for house sittings. Im available most holidays.
