I also know enough about dogs to give them plenty of space and quiet if they want some adjustment time. Your pets get excellent, intuitive, professional care at my home. I CARE FOR ALL TYPES OF DOGS. I usually care for one, and, at the most, two family’s pets at a time so your buddy(s) get all the attention they want. I only have another pet with your dog and it's mutual with you and the other person who inquires. I prefer pets that are housebroken and well-behaved so they are free to enjoy my entire home. If not-so-well-behaved...I can work with that. JUST NO BARKERS, please. EXPERIENCE. I have 30+ years experience. For the past 3 years, I've been fostering all kinds of dogs, (from tiny Yorkies to giant St. Bernards and everything in between...and friendly pitties too) for a rescue group that just closed down. They highly recommend me as I've dealt with all kinds of dogs, all kinds of behavior and health issues. And dogs seem to "blossom" in my care! ABOUT ME. As an active, youthful, responsible senior, I have tons of experience, patience, love and insight in assisting animals to relax, have fun and enjoy their time at my "doggy resort." Rates include daily walks, playtime and lots of love! I live alone, so have plenty of time to spend with my new doggie friend(s). It's a quiet home, very relaxing and peaceful. Every morning I take a 1/2 mile to 3 mile walk and your sweetie is welcome to go if she/he wants. When I feel a playtime coming on, we go for it! Toys, hide & seek, chase the ball...whatever the game is, we're on! I'm home a lot! I do the usual grocery shopping and errands and am gone for perhaps an hour a day. Often I’m home all day. Three nights a week I've got a part-time job and am gone for 4 hours those evenings. DOG ACCOMMODATIONS. I'm happy to provide a crate and bedding if you don't trust your pet to be 100% loose. Or you can bring your crate and bedding. Wherever your pet is comfortable and happy is where they'll be. I'm very flexible and accommodating. I spend time in my office and in the living room. In both rooms I provide clean doggie beds from freshly laundered, colorful afghans. Often the dogs love to make "nests" out of their bedding. Dogs usually enjoy helping me on the computer or watching TV. When I have doggie guests, I cover the couch, so they're welcome to snuggle with me if they want (or stay on the floor if you prefer). There's also a plush doggie bed in the bedroom if they want to sleep there. I can put a crate in the bedroom if you prefer also. I'm very flexible about where you want your sweetie to be and how you want me to treat him/her so it’s a comfy home for them. MY HOME. My home is an older cozy single-story townhome, with wall-to-wall carpet except for the kitchen. It’s a 2-bedroom, 2-bath home. One bedroom has been converted into my office/computer room. The small yard is enclosed by a 6 foot wooden fence. The yard is part grass and part dirt. The yard is very dog-friendly. The patio is covered in case of rain. MY COMMUNITY. I live in a quiet adult community near Lookout Mountain Park and often walk in the grassy park or along side the mountain. There’s a lot of open space in my community where I walks dogs. A huge dog park is a couple minutes away. There are delightful neighborhoods to walk in also. I'm minutes from Paradise Valley Mall, Desert Ridge, Moon Valley, Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Sunnyslope. OPTIONAL SERVICES. I’ll pick up and deliver, chauffeur to vet and groomer. Rates are flexible for extra services. Rates are flexible for 3 or more dogs. And super easy dogs. Will accept your cat too if they are part of your dog family. If you book with me again, we can negotiate. My intention is to be fair and provide excellent service. Whatever you need--just ask!
