Hello hello! I am an active travel guide currently living in Portland during my off season. I love dogs but travel too often during the year to have my own. I grew up with German Shepherds, Great Pyrenees, and an assortment of small dogs (Rat Terrier, Pekingnese, Chihuahua). I am the person that gets giddy when a dog is around and wants to be best friends with it. I am a very active person, love to go hiking and running, and want to fill my free time with a little pup love. I am happy to drive to your house to simply check on or keep your dog(s) company, go on walks/hikes, or take them to a dog park. I am also available for full-time housesitting. Sugar is awesome! She cared for our house-full of pets (2 dogs and 2 cats) in our home and did a wonderful job! Not only did she leave everything super-clean, she made sure that both dogs got plenty of exercise and everyone got plenty of pets! We are so glad that we found her!
Sugar has spent a lot of time with my boxer mix, Judy. Whether it be hiking, camping, walking around the block, or just general at home cuddling- she does it all and she does it well. Sugar loves animals of all kinds, but especially dogs. She has stayed in our home and spent several days with our two dogs. Our shy girl, Molly, took to her immediately. I've also seen her interact very well with many other dogs and even baby goats and pigs. She is caring and responsible and loves nothing more than romping with dogs of all sizes and types. By hiring her you are also supporting a tremendous Olympic athlete.
When you see Sugar with a dog you can see how much she loves them. She wishes she could have her own dog but she travels many months of the year. As a dedicated hard working person she takes care of business with a kind heart and a smile. She will give your dog love as though it is her own and will make sure your dog is smiling when she returns your baby home. Give her a try with your loved baby and you see that she is the dog walker/sitter for you.
