Pet care experience
I personally love animals and grew up having a wide range of animals my whole life. My partner and I do have a cat and a puppy of our own. My dog is a basenji named Sam and he is very excitable and friendly. Sam enjoys going to the woods, playing with every dog or person he meets, and cuddling on the couch. My cat is a bengal named Cece and she is also a very sociable and friendly cat. She rolls on the floor as a greeting and also enjoys cuddling up. I moved to the Netherlands a few years ago to be closer to my family still living here. I have in the past owned personally two chihuahuas, a German short haired pointer mixed with a dalmatian, and a terrier mix. I’ve even had turtles growing up. I have plenty of experience pet sitting when I lived in Philadelphia as well as in Atlanta and I have taken care of dogs of all ages and size. I have experienced bad pet hotels and sitters with my own animals in the past and I can assure you that I will take care of your dogs as if they were my own. I have even taken care of my sister in law’s cattery (which is about 20 cats and kittens) for about a month while she was away. I genuinely care a lot about animals and their wellbeing. Suezette was great! Our dog can be shy around new people but she warmed up to Suezette immediately. We were nervous about having someone stay at our house but as soon as we met Suezette, we knew she was a great fit for our dog. Our dog was well taken care of while we were away. Suezette responded to questions very quickly and was flexible when our flight was delayed. She is very kind and very friendly! We will definitely have her take care of our dog again!
My dog was well cared for by Suzette. She replied to my texts immediately and kept me updated on daisy daily. Would definitely use Suzette again.

I know dogs and cats all have different personalties so I’d love to know what your pet is like! I’ve had some dogs that are very particular as to where they’ll go to complete their business, dogs that get anxious when left alone, and I’ve had some that get nervous around bigger dogs. I feel like all of this is important to know so I know how to make them feel more comfortable while you’re away. Any routines are also great to know. When are they typically walked or fed? Are there any rules that need to be followed? Do they need to practice any training commands? What commands do they follow (i.e. sit, come, etc.)?
A typical day
I enjoy going on long walks with pets and heading to the woods when the weather is nice. If your dog is allowed to socialize with others, it is nice to know if they can be introduced to my own pet. We often take our pup to the woods in Dorst and it would be great to be able to take them all! After all: the more the merrier!

Availability
I work from home in my own art studio (SW Studios) which is in our back yard. I teach lessons that are only an hour and a half at a time. I occasionally have longer workshops, but there are breaks in between. Outside of my lessons I have a flexible schedule and like doing dog walking or pet care on the side. It’s a great way to change up routine and get out of the house.
